【摘要】:ThispartofEN14869specifiesatestmethodfordeterminingtheshearbehaviourofanadhesiveinasinglelapjointbondedassemblywhensubjectedtoatensileforce.Thetestisperformedonspecimensconsistingofthick,rigidadherends,withashortlengthofoverlap,inordertoobtainthemostuniformdistributionofshearstressespossibleandtominimizeotherstressstateswhichinitiatefailure.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodetermine:—shear-stressagainstshear-straincurvetofailureoftheadhesive;—shearmodulusoftheadhesive;—otheradhesivepropertiesthatcanbederivedfromthestress/straincurvesuchasthemaximumshearstressandshearstrain;—effectoftemperature,environment,testspeed,etc.,ontheseproperties.
