【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardgivesgeneralguidelinesforexplosionpreventionandprotectioninminingbyoutliningthebasicconceptsandmethodologyforthedesignandconstructionofequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoGroupIequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsintendedforuseinundergroundpartsofminesandthosepartsoftheirsurfaceinstallationsatriskfromfiredampand/orflammabledust.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsfortheidentificationandassessmentofhazardoussituationsthatmayleadtoexplosionsanddescribesthedesignandconstructionmeasuresappropriatefortherequiredsafety.Thisisachievedby-hazardidentification;-riskassessment;-eliminationorminimizationofrisk;-informationforuse.Thesafetyofequipment,protectivesystems,andcomponentscanbeachieved,asdescribedinEN292-2:1991,byremovalofhazardsand/orlimitingtherisk,i.e.a)byriskreductionbydesign;b)bysafeguarding;c)byinformationforuse;d)byadditionalprecautions.Measuresinaccordancewitha)(prevention)andb)(protection)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinclause6ofthisstandard,measuresaccordingtoc)againstexplosionsaredealtwithinclause7ofthisstandard.Measuresinaccordancewithd)arenotdescribedinthisEuropeanStandard.Theyaredealtwithinclause6ofEN292-2:1991.ThepreventiveandprotectivemeasuresdescribedinthisEuropeanStandardwillnotprovidetherequiredlevelofsafetyunlesstheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsareoperatedinlinewiththeirintendeduseandareinstalledandmaintainedaccordingtotherelevantcodesofpracticeorrequirements.Thisstandardisapplicabletoanyequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsintendedtobeusedinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres.Theseatmospherescanarisefromflammablematerialsprocessed,usedorreleasedbytheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsorfrommaterialsinthevicinityoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsand/orfromthematerialsofconstructionoftheequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponents.Asshotfiringcanreleasepotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres,thisstandardisalsoapplicabletotheequipmentusedforshotfiring,apartfromtheexplosivesanddetonators.Thisstandardisapplicabletoequipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentsatallstagesofuse.Thisstandardisnotapplicableto:-medicaldevicesintendedforuseinamedicalenvironment;-equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosionhazardresultsexclusivelyfromthepresenceofexplosivesorunstablechemicalsubstances;-equipment,protectivesystemsandcomponentswheretheexplosioncanresultfromreactionofsubstanceswithoxidizingagentsotherthanatmosphericoxygenorbyotherhazardousreactionsorconditionsotherthanatmosphericconditions;-equipmentintendedforuseindomesticandnon-commercialenvironmentswhereexplosiveatmospheresmayonlyrarelybecreatedandsolelyasaresultoftheaccidentalleakageoffuelgas;-personalprotectiveequipmentwithinthemeaningofDirective89/686/EEC;-thedesignandconstructionofsystemscontainingdesired,controlledcombustionprocesses,unlesstheycanactasignitionsourcesinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheres;-mineswherefiredampand/orflammabledustarenotnaturallypresentandsurfaceinstallationssuchascoalpreparationplants,powerplants,cokeovenplantsetc.inwhichanexplosiveatmospherecanbepresent,butwhicharenotpartofacoalmine.ThesearecoveredbyEN1127-1:1997.
